We were so excited to celebrate the second Sunday of Advent with Isaac. Of course, he slept through it all, but it brings my heart joy to think of when he'll be able to actively participate with us.
On the second Sunday of Avent, the second candle is lit as well as the first one. The second candle is the Bethlehem candle, reminding us where Jesus was born. It too is purple, for our King who was born in a manger.
