I thought this was a hummingbird feeder....

....but apparently, it's a buzzing bee feeder. What the....! I'm bummed. I've even seen the hummingbirds fly up to the feeder, hover for a minute, then fly away because of all the bees. I take my squirt bottle and try to spray them away but this only makes more come out. Don't worry, I'm inside the house with the door shut with only my hand sticking out to make sure 1) I don't get stung and 2) they don't come in the house.

Pictures from our Studio Session in Arizona

The Boy

I realize I have not posted exclusively about Isaac lately. Part of that is because Luke and I promised that we would not turn our family blog into an Isaac Idol blog. But, he's so darn cute and we're gonna show him off!! These pics are not in chronological or developmental order.
On the move! Not quite crawling yet, but he sure does get around!
Luke and I were on the floor sifting through all of Isaac's clothes and didn't want him all up in them. So, we put him in his crib with a toy. We hear him laughing and look up. Imagine our surprise when Isaac is on his feet looking the edge, down at us! He figured out how to pull over his toy box. Toy everywhere!I found Isaac on the other side of his crib tucked in the corner, and not too happy about it. And he's in his big boy carseat! What happened to my little guy!?So there he is! The sweetest boy you ever did see!

Arizona Highlights

It's been about two weeks since I got back from Arizona. With so much going in, I have not had the time to post about it. So here are some picture highlights! Wita with Isaac on the hammock in the backyard. Wito with Isaac in the house. They just loved him. And Isaac loved when Wito whistled at him. Going to get some ice cream. They love their 31 flavors! And Nana and Isaac at the airport before we came back home. Back to In & Out burgerAnd back again. But this time....... WITH ANDREA!!!I was so happy that I got to go see her. My mom even rented me a car to be able to visit. Here are Isaac and Ben. There expressions pretty much define our experience. Isaac though Ben was hilarious and Ben was just trying to figure it all out. Here's a couple of pics of them playing together. The first one's all "What?" and the second is "Is that MY toyBen's chewing on?" "HaHa! Isaac's not getting THIS back!" Sweet BenBen giving me a big kissAnd Andrea and IsaacAll in all, it was a great trip even though it was FLIPPIN' HOT!!!! Hopefully Luke can come with me next time!

What do you buy when your new house has a big back yard?

Why a duck of course!!!!

It has been a dream of Luke's since he was born to have one. This isn't a joke people! This is a very serious possibility. The duck on the top is called an Indian Runner (Luke has done some serious research here). This is the kind Luke wants. The kind on the bottom is a Peking. One of these will most likely be the kind of duck we get. They are also good for eating slugs, bugs and grass. Let's just hope The Miss doesn't eat it!

Jesus has multiplied our loaves!

The Lord has given us ........ A HOUSE!!! We are so excited and absolutely humbled by the Lord's provision for us. We close in September. God has been so good to us. It's a 3 bed 2.5 bath. It has a huge back yard with a 6 foot privacy fence. We're so excited not to cart Missy up and down the stairs anymore just to go potty. There an elementary school the next street over, Isaac could literally walk there. It's right behind Triangle town center and all the new shopping centers. It's definetley farther away and we will certainly miss the convience of where we are now, but we're excited to be in our new community. We are so excited and amazed at what the Lord has done for us.

The slide show is below. Rooms not pictured are the front of the living room, the halfbath downstairs, our HUGE walk in closet, and the other bedrooms.

The Bride and The Groom

I am pretty sure that most guys don't remember what song plays as a bride walks into the room. For most brides I don't pay attention, but...hmm...now that I mention it, I actually don't even remember what MY wife walked down the aisle to...so nevermind. The point is, my good friend Cliff included this bonus feature on our wedding DVD that plays the song I heard in my head while she walked toward me. This video still takes me back (only about 3 years) to the day when my girlfriend became my wife. And it still makes me pretty darn emotional. Thanks again Cliff!!!
