Being a Friend

One of my bridesmaids, Bethie, just got engaged. Congrats!!! What an exciting time.! It wasn't too long ago for us but I still feel like that newly engaged feeling was forever ago.
Here's me and Beth at the wedding. Soon, she'll be the one in white!!!!!

I've really been thinking alot lately about what kind of friend I am. Characters about friends that I have are loyalty, honesty, like-mindedness, fun, true, being candid, remembering special things, caring and staying involved in my life (especially after college where you don't see eachother every day) and most of all, being able to fight hard and, at the end of the day, keep loving. These are all things that I value most in a friendship, and yet I have found that I have been failing at these very things in the relationships that I have. God is teaching me alot about being a faithful, loyal friend, to the end and I'm just praying for a practical way to make sure the people I love, know that I love them. So yeah, just my thoughts for the day.

Tonight we're going to Drew's house and he's cooking us dinner. It's so great to have him back in town. He's making us Mahi Mahi ( I think that's how you spell it). None of us have ever had it before; we'll see how it turns out.

Old Friends, New Food

Tonight we had dinner with Drew Watkins, one of Luke's best friends from high school. He's jsut moved back to NC from MD and we're so glad to have him back in town.

I also tried a new recipe out on him and it was really good. It was just plain old chicken with a lemon creamy sauce. I didn't think anyone would like it but it was yummy. Thanks Mute for my better homes Cookbook!!! Here's an pic of Drew and Luke at the wedding.

We've Changed!!!

I told you we were new at this. Luke thought that the old place was good but found that this site was better. So we're "bloggers" now.
